Angostura Gold Rum 5yr
Angostura 5 year old gold rum is a blend of light and heavy, molasses-based, continuous distilled rums that are aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels for a minimum of five years. The rum is filtered but not so much as to compromise its inherently rich flavour or wood-induced amber colour. The bouquet of the Angostura 5 year old gold brims over with alluring aromas of vanilla, molasses, cinnamon and all spice. The taste is full of energy with flavours of chocolate, spice and pasted oak. The finish is dry, warming, mellow and of moderate duration.
